At Pinewoods Homecare we understand the detrimental effect that low self-esteem can have on the health and wellbeing of our service users. Often, low self-esteem comes about through the inability of a service user to look after their physical appearance, particularly if this has always been a priority throughout their lives.
To combat this, we organise hair and beauty sessions for our service users in their own home, through qualified practitioners that we know well and can rely upon. These services include:

- Make-up
- Foot care
- Body treatments
- Shaving
Not only does this help our service users to feel better about their appearance, but it also gives them the opportunity for social interaction with practitioners who are experienced in providing beauty services to people who may be feeling isolated at home.
